Last night in Dublin was outstanding. I was invited to Brian Gormley's opening at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, with a sit down dinner afterward at the Tea Room in the Clarence Hotel (owned by Bono and The Edge). It was quite an elegant affair.
The other night I saw Dion Boucicault's "The Colleen Bawn" at the Civic Theater in Tallagh. Outstanding and I will post a complete report when I return.
Right now I'm in some little town on the way to Galway, on a publkic internet terminal. Just visited Newgrange -- the oldest building in Europe, they claim. It was pretty impressive.
Tomorrow back to Dublin to see Charlie Connelly at a party for his new book "Our Man in Hibernia". The end of this trip is approaching too fast.
