Sunday Afternoon -- Sangria Sunday at Cherry Valley Vineyards -- 1 pm - 5 pmThis is the first of several monthly appearances at the Sorrenti family's Cherry Valley Vineyards http://cherryvalleyvineyards.com/cherryvalleyvineyards/Home.html We'll be appearing as a trio -- Uke, JJ, and Thunderstix -- in their covered pavillion.
Sangria and light fare such as cheese platters will be served. There are also wine tastings and tours of the winery. This is a wonderful way to pass a Sunday afternoon.
The grounds are lovely and go on forever, and all of Cherry Valley was recently declared a national wildlife refuge.
The wine is tasty and locally grown and produced right where you'll be drinking it (unless you take home a few bottles).
We'll be doing all our popular saloon set numbers, and there's plenty of room for dancing. And remember -- you'll have all day Monday to recuperate.
