I went down to the demonstration

The energy companies have gone completely insane as their era wanes, stumbles and crumbles -- tar sands, deep water drilling, gas fracking, oil wars, and more. The Obama administration repeatedly demonstrates a lack of comprehension when it comes to the environment. Obama is an appeaser of abusers of the environment. He can't grub for their election contributions fast enough.

Anyway, we have to take it to the streets if we want clean water and air. That's all there is to it.

So, Wednesday, some friends and I went down to Philadelphia to demonstrate outside the Conventuion Center while current Governor Tom Corbett and his evil predecessors Ed Rendell and Tom Ridge
did some corporate boot licking and pooh poohed the science of places like Cornell University, where the effects of natural gas fracking were proven to be disastrous for water and air and were laid out for all to see. (There is not one elected representative anywhere at the state or national level who should be re-elected, and they should all lose their fat cat benefits and multi-million dollar pensions. Frack all professional politicians!)

Let it be known that on October 21, 2011, the Delaware River Basin Commission is announcing its rules regarding fracking for natural gas. Josh Fox, who made the film Gasland, said he will be arrested that day, if natural gas drilling is allowed in this watershed, I will be arrested with him on that day for nonviolent civil disobedience. I will be arrested again and again until the people here win over the energy corporations. I won't be alone. Let us be a light and a guiding force to other everywhere who are demanding an end the madness.

Here's a video of some of the thousands who showed up at the Convention Center and then marched.
