Is Philadelphia Ready?

First Friday in Old City, Philadelphia welcomes both the artist Brian Gormley, and the the Working Class Bohemians, featuring The Unknown Playwright on vocals (with an added element you're sure to like and talk about), the silver ukulele, and the Grand Contraption; and with Peter Reichlin on tuba and trombone.

All this is happening thanks to the energy and vision of Jules Goldman, whose rare bookstore and art gallery at 29 North 2nd Street (right across from Christ Church) is hosting a one man exhibition of Gormley's brilliant and beautiful abstract paintings. Working Class Bohemians will be playing as part of the retro gala opening night.

We hope to see some old friends there and to meet some new friends.

That's tomorrow night, Friday October 7!

Thanks for helping keep the music alive!
