Let's cheer for the iPod -- music, once a unifying force in society and communities, is now a way of separating ourselves from everyone else when we're in public. Everybody's got their own sound track running in their own movie.
Let's all lament the death of the billionaire who, with Eric Schmidt of Google, recently announced that the two of them have a combined trillion dollars in offshore banks and they refuse to repatriate the money to America unless they get a tax holiday. I'll be watching for the armored truck behind the hearse.
