R.I.P. Cyril Lefebvre

Sad news indeed on an otherwise lovely Easter Sunday morning. My old pal Cyril Lefebvre, founder of the Ukulele Club de Paris (see video below), an accomplished and acclaimed musician, and a great promoter of the ukulele, with a Tahitian twist, is off to show the angelic harpers a thing or two..

One of Cyril's great delights was being pictured on the front page of Le Monde with a plastic ukulele. Antoine Carolus, no stranger to plastic ukuleles himself, informed me this morning of Cyril's passing. France, and the planet, will be less musical without him. Here's Antoine's blog tribute.

Cyril would want to be remembered for the music, so enjoy!
